History

Farbax, founded in 1983, is one of the leading manufacturer of compatible consumables for laserprinter, photocopier, fax and inkjet-printer and is employing more than 300 people. Mr A.J. Szvoboda, founder, president and pioneer in the recharging industry, has always been one step ahead, regarding production procedures, product-assortment and global presence.

In 1991 Farbax Austria and Germany have been opened to serve the market in the EC. In the same year the new production facility in Hungary has been opened and is today one of the largest remanufacturing sites worldwide.

In May 1997 Farbax has acquired the company Carbon kft, which manufacturing ribbons. This acquisition completes the product assortment carrying even ribbons now.

Distribution

Farbax is currently supplying customer in more than 90 countries worldwide and is represented exclusively in Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, Lithuania, Israel, Montenegro, Serbia and Marocco.

There are three warehouses in Switzerland, Germany and Hungary to choose from and the skills of our staff are perfectly designed to support the global service for our international clients.

Product-Assortment

With over 300 ready-to-use products and over 1'600 parts for the recharging industry, Farbax is covering the largest product-assortment. Further possibilities are license-programs and training possibilities for companies entering the recharging industry. Several projects have already been successfully launched.

Farbax is also producing in house some of the most important technical parts for the recharging industry and supplies even machinery.

Quality

In October 1996, the Farbax facility has been ISO 9002 certified to improve certain quality procedures, and was one of the first production to be certified in this market. All products are produced with the best possible spare parts and go through different steps of quality control.

The current capacity is around 50'000 units per month and will be increased shortly to satisfy more clients in more countries.
